Rachael Tennyson started riding at age 7 and Greylyn Farm was established in 1982. Catering to those who deeply love and care about horses, Greylyn Farm offers a "hands-on" philosophy so their riders enjoy all possible stages of learning.
Rachael has earned championships and blue ribbons at local, state, regional, and national levels. Her riders have earned hundreds of blue ribbons and special awards over the years. Many of Greylyn Farm's past students have gone on to open their own stables.

Over the years Rachael had the privilege of riding for or training with some of the industry's most accomplished riders. Rachael is grateful for everything she has learned over the years and now teaches that and more to her own riders. Treating Greylyn's horses as their best friends is the number one priority. Riding with kindness and gentleness comes from the heart. At Greylyn, riders don't command their horses to listen, they ask through gentle aids and kindness. Instructing Greylyn riders is accomplished with the same approach. Riders are given direction with clear explanations and encouragement so the riders understand what is being taught.
