At Greylyn Farm we instruct riders of all ages! Our Pony Pal program starts children as young as 2 years old. We also teach teens, adults, moms, and anyone who has a desire to learn and bond with our amazing horses.

Riding Lessons

Riding Instruction will be given on gentle and patience horses. Many are retired champion show horses. We teach English centered riding, jumping and offer relaxing trail rides.

Lessons are given in 30 minute sessions and may be a private or have 2 similar experienced riders riding together. Once riders are experienced enough to ride with others and pass the basic rider test, they may choice to ride in a 1 hour group session which has up to 5 riders.

Instruction is focused on safety, grooming, tacking and untacking, proper communication with your horse, reading the horse's movements and reactions, body position and much more. Greylyn Farm also offers several All Star Horse Shows at Greylyn Farm for our students to participate in.

Lessons are given on a weekly basis and riders may take as many lessons per week as they would like. Many of our riders take several each week.
